Dr. Fagert has over 15 years of experience in education. She has worked at the university level as a teacher educator, in the classroom as a special educator, and at the school system level as a transition teacher and coordinating teacher. She has expertise and extensive experience in transition issues, cultural and linguistically diverse learners, behavior management and intervention, development of structure to support learning, evaluation of students for eligibility and educational programming, teacher training (preservice and inservice), legal issues in special education, & meeting the needs of students with special needs in the regular education classroom.
